The 2009 season is just about here. We are once again looking forward to some good diving and the overall fun that seems to go along.
Blue Fathoms is currently winter stored and we anticipate a launch date between April 15 and May 1. This is weather dependent – as always.
There is a slight change to our schedule this year. Blue Fathoms has scaled back on the number of scheduled trips that will be run this year. It’s not due to a lack of participants – rather because I would like to spend more time with my children and family. This will also give the crew an opportunity to take advantage of the boat for their diving or fishing fun.
Individuals who don’t want to commit to a charter schedule or who are unable to participate in chartered dives but want to dive or fish are welcome to contact any of the captains or crew and “jump on board” these trips. The costs for these opportunities will be at the discretion of the crew and can range anywhere from a FREE trip to “lets got to lunch” to a regular single person fee. Again, this cost is at the discretion of the captains and crew.
You might ask – WHY? It’s our way of kicking back and saying thanks.
Charter costs this year have not been set yet. I do anticipate that the costs will mirror that of the 2007 season. We need to put the fuel issues of 2008 behind us – hopefully so will OPEC.
